Quick Summary: 21Pix recreates the disposable camera experience. You buy film rolls, take 21 photos without previewing them, and receive prints by mail. You must be 16+, own the rights to your photos, and understand that all sales are final once printing begins.
1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using 21Pix ("the App," "the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our Service.
The Service is operated by Groenewegen Solutions B.V., a company registered in the Netherlands. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Groenewegen Solutions B.V. (referred to throughout as "21Pix").
2. Service Description
2.1 What We Offer
21Pix provides a unique photography experience that recreates using a disposable camera:
- Purchase digital "film rolls" containing 21 shots
- Take photos through a small viewfinder without previewing
- No ability to delete, edit, or preview photos
- Automatic printing on real photo paper once all 21 shots are taken
- Delivery of printed photos to your doorstep
2.2 The Experience
Important: This app is designed to replicate the uncertainty and anticipation of film photography. You will NOT be able to:
- See how your photos look before printing
- Delete or retake photos
- Apply filters or edits
- Cancel an order once submitted
By using 21Pix, you accept this uncertainty as part of the experience.
3. Eligibility and Account
3.1 Age Requirements
Minimum Age: 16 years old
You must be at least 16 years old to use 21Pix. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years of age.
3.2 User Identification
- No account registration is required
- A device-generated ID is created for order tracking
- You are responsible for all activity under your device ID
3.3 Geographic Availability
21Pix currently ships to the following European Union member states:
- Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland
- Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain
We may expand to additional countries at our discretion. Where the app appears unavailable for purchase, it is because we do not yet ship to your country.
4. Purchases and Payment
4.1 Film Roll Purchases
- Film rolls must be purchased before taking photos
- Each roll contains exactly 21 shots
- Prices include printing and standard shipping
- Prices are displayed in EUR (€)
- All prices include applicable VAT
4.2 Payment Processing
- Payments are processed by Mollie, a licensed payment service provider
- We accept: iDEAL, Bancontact, Credit Card, PayPal, Apple Pay
- Payment must be completed before photos are printed
- We do not store your payment card details
4.3 Refund Policy
Standard Policy: All sales are final once printing begins (immediately after order submission).
Exceptions - We may offer refunds for:
- Technical failures preventing photo upload
- Printing errors on our end
- Non-delivery after reasonable time (30 days)
- Damaged prints due to shipping (photo evidence required)
No refunds for:
- Blurry, dark, or poorly composed photos
- Accidental photos
- Change of mind after ordering
- Incorrect shipping address provided by you
5. Shipping and Delivery
5.1 Shipping Information
- You must provide accurate shipping information
- We are not responsible for delays due to incorrect addresses
- Reshipment due to your error may incur additional charges

5.3 Delivery Issues
If your photos haven't arrived within 30 days:
- Contact us at support@21snaps.com
- Provide your order ID
- We'll investigate with the shipping carrier
- If lost, we'll reprint and reship at no cost
6. Content and Conduct
6.1 Your Content
By taking photos with 21Pix, you represent and warrant that:
- You own all rights to the photos you take
- You have permission from any identifiable people in your photos
- Your photos don't infringe on any third-party rights
- Your photos comply with all applicable laws
6.2 Prohibited Content
You may NOT photograph or submit content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, threatening, or abusive
- Contains nudity or sexual content
- Depicts violence or gore
- Violates privacy rights of others
- Contains copyrighted material you don't own
- Promotes illegal activities
- Contains personal information of others without consent
Important: We reserve the right to refuse printing and cancel orders containing prohibited content. No refund will be provided for orders canceled due to prohibited content.
6.3 Content License
You retain all ownership rights to your photos. By using our Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:
- Process and print your photos
- Transmit photos to our printing partner
- Store photos for 7 days for reprint purposes
We will NEVER use your photos for marketing, advertising, or any purpose other than fulfilling your order.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Property
The following remain the exclusive property of 21Pix:
- The 21Pix app and its original content
- Our logo, brand name, and trademarks
- The app's design, features, and functionality
- Our website and marketing materials
7.2 Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of our app
- Reverse engineer or decompile the app
- Use our trademarks without permission
- Resell or commercially exploit our Service
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of our Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:
- Photos are deleted 7 days after printing
- We don't track or profile you
- No marketing emails or spam
- Full GDPR compliance
- Data never leaves the EU
9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
9.1 Service Provided "As Is"
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF RESULTS
9.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
Our total liability to you for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Lost profits or revenues
- Loss of data or photos
- Emotional distress
9.3 Specific Disclaimers
We are not responsible for:
- Photo quality (blur, exposure, composition)
- Accidental captures
- Device camera malfunctions
- Color variations in printing
- Minor delays in shipping
- Acts of God or force majeure events
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 21Pix and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your content
11. Termination
11.1 Termination by You
- You may stop using the Service at any time
- Delete the app from your device
- Request data deletion via privacy@21snaps.com
11.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your access if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Submit prohibited content
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Abuse our Service or staff
11.3 Effect of Termination
- Pending orders will still be fulfilled
- No refunds for unused film rolls
- Data retention per our Privacy Policy
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Informal Resolution
Before formal proceedings, you agree to attempt resolution by contacting us at legal@21snaps.com. We'll try to resolve disputes informally within 30 days.
12.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12.3 Jurisdiction
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
12.4 European Online Dispute Resolution
EU residents may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes:
- We'll notify you via the app or email
- You'll have 30 days to review changes
- Continued use constitutes acceptance
- You may terminate if you disagree
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and 21Pix regarding the Service.

17. Special Provisions
17.1 Beta Features
We may offer beta features that are experimental. These are provided "as is" without warranties.
17.2 Third-Party Services
Our Service uses:
- Mollie: Payment processing (subject to Mollie's terms)
- PostNL/bpost/DHL: Shipping services
17.3 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not be considered a waiver.
17.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign our rights to any successor.
By using 21Pix, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
